GSBA is back - European Championship was a great success!

​

The Global Stick and Blade Alliance organized a European Championship again this year after a long Corona break. This time the organizer was GSBA Germany and the venue was Bonn, Germany.

​

On July 28-30, Athletes from five European countries (Great Britain, France, Switzerland, Poland and Germany) met to compete in various disciplines and to choose the best from Europe. Unfortunately, it was due to Corona and its aftermath that only five out of nine nations competed against each other.

​

In any case, those who were there had a lot of fun and maybe a bruise or two. Because it was fought with sticks, sometimes with more armor and sometimes with less armor.

​

The next European Championship will be held in Northern Ireland/Great Britain in 2025 and plans are underway to confirm the location of the next World Championship.  Details will be shared as soon more information is available.
